Susanne designed my dream wedding dress in one visit. I couldn’t believe my luck one Saturday morning i was calling round shops to see if anyone had appointments to go and have a look at dresses. I came across Susanne Christyne number on google and she had a cancellation. I hadn’t been to any wedding shops at all,

on arrival Susanne was so welcoming such a relaxed at home feeling i had with her we clicked straight away and had a right good laugh as my 12 year old son tagged along with me and my mum. Susanne was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I remember saying i don’t know what i want, 10mins later we had designed my dress dress through trying some samples, looking at beautiful laces and fabrics and we both put it together.

I was so nervous to go and try my dress when it was finally put together I don’t know why as it was all and more than i ever expected.  On the day I didn’t even know i had it on it was so perfectly fitting. She was honestly so amazing and am so glad i googled wedding dresses Motherwell that morning as i honestly couldn’t be bothered going into town that day.

Susanne listens to everything you think you would like and wouldn’t like and honestly makes dreams come true she is so down to earth and such an amazing person inside and out.

I would recommend anyone to pay that extra and get there dream dress designed for you as no one else will ever have what you had.

Where do I begin....

I knew when looking at regular wedding dress shops the dresses were not for me .... I would like parts of dresses but never ever did I look at any dresses and think yes....

So I was back to the drawn board with an eye for design and holding such attention to detail I knew the only dress for me would need to be custom made....

I had ideas in my head exactly what I wanted and how I wanted my dress to be.

So I made the 1st step and searched for wedding dress designers I came across Susannes website, I called and we scheduled  a time for both of us to have a chat.

I think that phone call went on for about an hour at least after just a few seconds I knew I had clicked with Susanne she just got me she listened to every little detail i wished for for my dress. I knew when I came off the call this is the lady to do my dress and I felt so much at ease

After that I went to susannes beautiful studio where again I just felt comfortable straight away we bounced ideas off one an other and I felt all my stress was just lifted I had absolutely no doubt after leaving that I had anything to worry about with my designs I knew I was completely in safe hands.

Unfortunately our wedding was postponed due to travel with covid as our wedding was in Portugal. Susanne took all that in her stride and told me not to worry.

When restrictions lifted I could finally go see my dress completed for the 1st time !!

I will never ever forget that day I cried when I seen my dress I was completely blown away seeing it in person was just a feeling I will never forget, every little single detail was on point. My dress was just beyond words there's no words I can say to describe how much I loved my dress and I cannot thank the very much talented, caring and kind lady that Susanne is. She went above and beyond she didn't just design and make my dress she cared and that I will be forever grateful for.

The time came to collect my dress and Susanne so kindly again told me not to stress to bring the case and she would make sure it was all packed properly, again all thoughtfully done. I cannot thank you enough Susanne

The time came to fly to Portugal for our magical wedding and what a day it was. We had 75 guests at our wedding and each and everyone of them were blown away by my beautiful dress.

Susanne I would not have been the bride I was  if it hadn't been for you.

I don’t particularly enjoy shopping in general so I knew wedding dress shopping was going to be long process! I visited many dress shops but felt like they only offered a very small selection of dresses that I would wear and none I felt were for me. My mum found Susanne online and I initially thought having a dress made would be out of my budget but don’t let this put you off, it wasn’t the case! I met Susanne at her beautiful studio and couldn’t believe how simple and thought through her initial trying appointment was. There were so many styles of dress ready to mix and match, different materials and add ons to create a truly unique dress. Susanne really helped to mould my ideas into perfect finishings on the dress. The fitting appointments were lovely experiences and Susanne always made me feel comfortable and excited about the process! She really is a perfectionist, thinks about every single detail and I am so grateful I came across her!

I honestly can't recommend Susanne Christyne enough, it was an amazing experience to have her make my beautiful wedding dress. I must say, I'm not a girly girl and wearing a dress was a total change for me, I had expected to be a bit uncomfortable but I honestly felt extremely comfortable and like a bride should feel. I hadn't worn a dress in over 10 years. With the help of Susanne Christyne making it to my style and my comfort it was ultimately what I needed and I'm so grateful for that. After trying several shops and not finding anything that suited me and what I really wanted, I went to Suzanne Christyne Bridal. They have an amazing selection of dresses, luxury fabrics, and ideas for the fine details that sets your dress apart from everybody else.

Suzanne has a real knack for listening and pulling from you the finer details of the dress that you really want. This means that when you get the dress it totally matches the style and look that you wanted.

When Suzanne made my dress I thought it was amazing; with details that I could not have thought of. It was clear that she had gone above and beyond for me as my dress now came with a beautiful little jacket, which was a total surprise, and meant that I could have two different looks on my wedding day. I was overwhelmed with how stunning it was.

On my Wedding day, Suzanne came to my house to assist with me getting into the dress to make sure I looked perfect for the day. It was lovely having her there and her experience really helped in the morning running smoothly.

Rachel decided to go for separates long sleeve bodice, plunge neckline bodice, full circle skirt & detachable mikado train having a daytime & evening look which looked like two completely different dresses she was able to change over in minutes!

My experience of Susanne designing my dream wedding dress, I don’t know where to begin!! This lady is just phenomenal and the most beautiful person inside and out. He Studio is simply stunning, such a warm environment and she’s so accommodating for you and your bridal party, her appointments alone are an experience.

I was shopping around for my wedding dress for some time and not quite finding “The One” I liked the top of one dress, bottom of another, sleeves from another… it was quickly apparent I was not going to find my dress “on the rack” – In steps my Fairy Godmother Susanne. She was a dream from start to finish! From the very first appt she put me at ease, we sat down & she asked me some questions to get a feel for what my vision was. Not an easy task to do when you have been shopping around, you just become so confused about what you want.

We then started trying on different dresses, piecing together parts from different gowns to get closer to the vison in my head, we then discussed parts that where missing and Susanne used her experience over the years to suggest things that might work etc. There where so many options and I couldn’t choose between 2 designs we had ended on – Susanne was so flexible, she suggested I could make my dress a 2 piece so I could have both. I loved this idea; I loved the thought of being able to have it all. Of putting on a dress for the daytime, then having a change for the evening but not having to compromise on any of the looks I wanted. Off Susanne went to work on sketches and took my measurements.

When I had my first fitting the looks where not fully complete because I had so many changing elements. So we done a fitting and ran over everything. I remember feeling so worried at this point about timing and it all being complete in time, Susanne put me at ease right away and told me not to worry in the slightest, we had plenty of time, if I needed another 3 fittings she would works around my schedule, and we would have the dress completed in plenty of time. This is what she does and to trust her. That was so easy to do.

I returned for my second fitting and the looks where complete, I can’t describe the feeling when I saw the 2 looks come together completely. Our vision come to life, tears filled my eyes. Susanne always made me feel beautiful, she was so complimentary, always giving my confidence that extra boost.

Right up to the point where we arranged collection of my dress (this was an operation due to the fact it needed to be split in to 5 bags haha) Everything was packed in acid free paper, hung on the hanger to perfection, folded in precise locations, It was a team effort to get the dress out to the car in the rain as easy as possible. We then went through each look and Susanne made sure I know what part of the dress was for day and evening, talked us through how to get me in to the corsets.

My day arrived and I felt like a princess. Everyone was blown away with my dress. Nobody had ever seen anything like it. I have never had so many compliments in my life. This dress is definitely one in a million and cant be bought of the rack!!
