Three years ago when I was starting to look for a wedding dress I was dreading it! I searched online for ages for shops that did “bigger sizes” when I came across a testimonial from a bride who had a dress made by Susanne and who you trusted to loose weight for their big day. So I plucked up the courage and sent a message to make an appointment!

At my first appointment you never made me feel uncomfortable, you listened to my likes and dislikes, gave advice on what would suit my shape and then in front of me drew the dress the of my dreams!

Then came the biggie….I wanted it made smaller! Something you were never phased about! You were clear but all supportive, offering me to message you with weight loss check ins.

I had lost the weight but then lockdown came….by the time I came back in December 2021 the dress didn’t fit! But again you didn’t judge me and offered the support of checking in again! Roll on July 2022 and here I am wearing the dress and it fitted 😍 I felt amazing on my wedding day and really didn’t want to take it off!! I would recommend anyone who is nervous about dress shopping or even has their own vision to come to you! I could not recommend you more!! Thank you so much for everything ❤️❤️❤️

I went along to see Susanne about a concept I had for my outfit. I knew as a gay man how different it was but also how difficult it was to find anyone to make the outfit . 

Being someone who loves fashion and lives to push the boundaries of fashion. I knew what I wanted 

I was immediately made welcome & set at ease and we both laughed and joked about how we both wanted to create a showstopper 3 piece suit.

So while I knew I wanted duchess satin in ivory with a lot of crystal handstitched details Susanne was only to happy to help & she & I went over many ideas etc until the final product . 

Susanne suggested the white duchess satin waist coat in contrast to the ivory coat with 3 foot train , she also showed me ideas she had for lace detailing on the waistcoat & on the train all of which she chose and hand stitched . 

Susanne’s attention to detail is second to non she really listens to what you as a bride or in my case a (bride /groom ) .

I expressed the colour scheme & how I wanted to incorporate lemon into my flowers as lemon & white were my late mother’s favourite colours 

Susanne went the extra length to source yellow citrine pear shaped stones which she spent many long hours hand stitching them on to surprise me 

I was blown away . 

I really could write more & more but I just wanted to thank Susanne for everything she done. If your considering a bespoke 1 of a kind outfit be you male or female I honestly can recommend you go see Susanne first . 

She is a beautiful soul with a huge heart and a serious eye for details even things you may not have considered she’s everything in a fashion designer you’d ever want and more .

From the moment I met Susanne we instantly clicked. I had never thought of getting my dress made however now I don’t know why anyone would just buy from a shop. Why would you not want a dress that no one will ever have. Susanne made the whole experience absolutely amazing, she got to know me and my facial expressions very quickly and knew the exact vision I had for my big day. She made me feel at ease and was always so welcoming when I invited family along to help pick my dream dress. My dress was absolutely stunning, I can’t thank of recommend Susanne enough. She is a really life fairy godmother.

Since I was young I had an image of what I wanted my dress to be, I went to a few shops and never seen what I wanted. I was then recommended to chat to Susanne, I was slightly apprehensive about the cost of getting something custom made however she very realistic and i was pleasantly surprised my dad was not haha.  Our first conversation was via telephone and it was unreal she was pulling ideas out my head that I didn’t even know I wanted. She said she would draw up a sketch of what she thought I wanted as a result of that conversation OMG wow. It was exactly what I wanted on paper. From then we hashed out details IE what material, colour prices ect.

Susanne was always very transparent no hidden cost and also told me what she thought would look good on my body shape.

My first meeting with Susanne was so amazing she made me feel totally at ease I tried on a few different lengths of skirts just to be sure of the length I wanted.  She frequently kept in touch with me although to be honest I trusted her from minute I spoke to her.  She had an amazing selection of different pieces in her unit to try.  When the first silhouette was made I was beyond excited it was so much better than I could ever have hoped.

From here we sorted out the finer details lace vs Jewels obviously had to have both nothing was too much

. She also added a personal touch for my gran and niece to the dress which no one could see but meant so much to me.

Susanne also sorted out my veil, head dress, underskirts and taught my bridesmaids how to sort me out on the day- she even stored my dress until the day before the wedding mainly because I couldn’t be trusted not to have it on.

My experience with Susanne was first class I cannot recommend this woman enough I will 1000% be passing her details to anyone who is needing a gorgeous gown.
