Susanne is absolutely amazing at what she does. I had been to several dress shops and not quite found what I was looking for, luckily I found Susanne online who was able to make a dress exactly how I imagined. Not only was Susanne able to fit me in with a tight turnaround (5 months before our wedding 😬), she was able to suggests belts, veils and hair pieces which complimented my dress perfectly. I absolutely loved wearing my dress on our wedding day.I am definitely going to miss my visits to Susanne’s studio as she was the friendly most helpful person 🥰
It was hard to know where to start when writing this review about Susanne. For starters I feel like she saved my whole wedding day & date as she squeezed me in with her other busy dates so that I could have the date & dress that I wanted for our wedding day. Richard & I had got engaged 5 years earlier so after coming across her website & following her on social media I just knew I had to have her design my bespoke dress for me. Covid & other things out of our control pushed our date back for so many years. But when the venue we both loved had an opening for only 5 months time, we had one week to decide if we could do it or not. I finally got onto messaging Susanne but unfortunately she explained that it wouldn’t be enough time to design my dress from scratch with all her other bookings she had already. I was so disappointed & looked around, but nothing else I seen made me want to try anything on. I chanced my luck & messaged again to say I really love all her work & wondered if she had anything already in stock that I could try on to save some time & help squeeze me in. Susanne seen all my inspo pics I sent & was delighted to say she may have something that just might work. She pencilled me in that week & when I met her we just clicked right away. I knew there was a reason I kept being guided back to her business. She is the loveliest person ever & she is a fairy god mother with wedding dresses. I am very petite in height & even tho the pieces she had didn’t anywhere near fit me, It was all altered to perfection with size & the design that I wanted. My dress came in 3 parts & this meant I had two different looks for throughout the day. I also had a bespoke belt & hairband from Susanne & it was all beautiful. I can’t thank her enough for squeezing me in & for being a lovely friend to me during the lead up to our wedding. She won’t like all the compliments aha but she is an absolute diamond of a person & a complete pro when it comes to wedding dresses. I recently got married in July 2024 and I was so unsure with what kind of wedding dress I wanted and didn't have a clue where to begin. As soon as I came across Susanne Christine Bridal I didn't look any further. Susanne was my first and last wedding shop and it was the best decision I ever made. From the moment I first stepped foot into the studio to the day I collected my wedding dress, Susanne was nothing but professional and very attentive to my needs. Susanne went through all of my ideas and we tried each style on until we found the perfect top and bottom that was exactly what I was looking for throughout the experience I was made to feel very comfortable and felt good in my own skin.
The experience of creating your own wedding dress is one I will never forget, and I couldn't have done it without Susanne's help. My dress was fitted to perfection and the attention to detail was very precise. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and knowing my dress was bespoke and no one would ever have the same made it even more special.
The communication throughout my experience was constant and any questions, changes I wanted to make or worries Susanne was just a text or a phonecall away.

I knew from the outset I wanted to do something bespoke,something that made me feel comfortable and enjoy the experience of weddingdress shopping. I had seen many reviews for Susanne online and I am so glad Itrusted them, she is incredible. From start to finish the process of creatingmy dream wedding dress was so comfortable, enjoyable and tailored to me exactlyas I wanted, and that was us even navigating a pandemic and covid restrictionsas well!
Susanne is so talented and I couldn't recommend her highlyenough. Wish I could get a new dress made by her every year!
I cannot express my thanks to Susanne enough for making my wedding dress journey so special. I am not someone who had a strong idea of what I wanted, and I get confused and find it difficult to make decisions when there are too many options surrounding me. So the intimate and personalised setting with Susanne was perfect for me.
She was very quickly able to help guide me on finding a design and style that suited and felt comfortable to me. However a key moment was when I spied some embroidered flowers on one of her designs and mentioned liking it. She explained that I could have flowers if I wanted them.Before we knew it my dress had flowers on the front bodice and once we started adding flowers I just wanted more and more, adding them to the back bodice and train of the dress also. My sister said it looked like I had a garden on my dress and it was so true and so perfect to me. I love colour and flowers and in hindsight a plain ivory/white dress just would never have been me.
A real special thing throughout the dress journey was working closely with Susanne. She allowed me to pick what flowers I liked and together we agreed the placement of them. This co-created element was super special for me. When I saw the finished dress I was blown away, despite seeing it building up, when you see the final dress that you will wear down the aisle it is just a really important moment that I will treasure in my mind for life, and Susanne made that moment really beautiful and special.
On my actual wedding day, I felt like a flower princess and truly didn’t want to take my dress off. Everyone commented on how beautiful and unique it was, even our male guests. However, for me the most special moment was after walking down the aisle my husband to be and I walked onto the altar to light a candle together, and he quietly said to me, “you look beautiful petal”. He has called me petal, due to my love of flowers, since we started dating in 2015. In that moment I realised the dress wasn’t just perfect for me, it was a perfect representation of us. So thanks Susanne for making “us” our perfect “petal”inspired dress.
Ps: The horse image was not staged - the horse photobombed us, a very happy and beautiful accident. My husband thinks he wanted the flowers in the dress and bouquet as he kept coming to me most of all. I think it was my late grandad getting in on the day.
