From the minute I found Susanne online to our first meeting, I knew I had met my perfect match. I didn’t even go to try dresses on elsewhere. Susanne immediately “got me” and the wedding vibe, she pinned some fabric on me at our initial meeting which was amazing from just a conversation and a few inspo pics. We had such a fun time at each appointment at her gorgeous studio and she made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. My dress was just simply stunning and made me feel sexy and classy at the same time. I can’t thank Susanne enough and feel I’ve met a kindred spirit along the way.

My daughter Zoë came across Susanne when she was researching wedding dresses.  She contacted Susanne and made an appointment.

Straight away Susanne made us feel welcome. She showed us to her studio where she introduced Zoë to all the skirts and tops she could choose from to try on. This allowed Zoë to see what tops would go with what skirt and crafted her own unique dress. At no point was Susanne pushing for a sale. She was genuinely interested in Zoë's opinions and ideas and she only wanted to help Zoë find the perfect dress.

Susanne wrote the cost of the dress down on a piece of paper and gave it to me. There was no pressure at all to buy the dress.  As Zoe was getting changed we told Susanne about Zoë's Lolita dresses she likes to wear so Susanne asked to see photos of them and she loved the colours and patterns of the dresses.  

Before we were even out of Susanne's driveway, Zoë had decided that was the dress she wanted. I messaged Susanne when I arrived home and placed the order.  At this point I also told Susanne about Zoë's Visual Impairment and Autism. Susanne immediately offered Zoë longer appointments for her ease which was really appreciated.

Our next appointment was to finalise details and take measurements. Susanne had come up with an idea to add pastel 3D flowers to Zoë's dress. She asked Zoë to feel the flowers and explained her ideas. Zoe absolutely loved it, immediately said yes and she was getting really excited about her dress and how it would look.

The next visit was for Zoë to try on her dress. Zoe had to take her wedding shoes with her so Susanne would fit it to the correct length. It fitted Zoe perfectly and the 3D flowers looked amazing and really stood out against the pure white dress.  They decided just to add another couple framing the corset at the back to finish it off and add a small butterfly as a memorial to Zoë's brother at the bottom of the dress.  

Zoe's dress was stunning. It was as if Susanne had bottled a piece of Zoë's soul and sewed it into her dress.  She was able to take Zoë's own personal style and make a dress that was as individual as Zoë is.  

Susanne is such a lovely person with an amazing talent.  She made us feel at ease and really took Zoe's opinions and disabilities into consideration and she created the most beautifully perfect dress. Zoë was gorgeous on her wedding day and I was an extremely proud mum.

We can't recommend Susanne highly enough and she was a joy to work with. She listened to Zoë, saw past her disabilities and found the excitable, bouncy bride underneath.  Zoe had nothing but positive comments on her wedding day and that's down to Susanne and her amazing creativity.

Not only is she extremely talented at dress design and creation, she is also the kindest most genuine person to work with.

I had a few stumbles and doubts along the way! All my own concerns, but Susanne listened and worked through them with patience and understanding. We tweaked the dress as discussed, but moreover she was one of my biggest cheerleaders to build my confidence for the big day.

On the day I felt so comfortable and although no one really wants to say it about themselves.. I felt a million dollars!
