Within the first appointment, she had shown me exactly what I had been looking for and in the months following, brought this to life. After visiting many other bridal shops Susanne knew I had an idea in mind of my dream wedding dress however I was unable to find my dream dress.

Visiting Suanne’s bridal shop was the loveliest experience, Susanne is so welcoming and friendly she sat down with me and listened to the kind of dress I was dreaming of.

Once I found the skirt, I loved we were then able to try on different bodices until I found the perfect dress.

Once my dress was finished, we had an appointment for Susanne to show my mum and sister how help me into my dress and help me to carry my dress on my own during the day. This was such a personal touch from Susanne that really helped us on the wedding day.

Dress review

Where to start.  It’s probably taken me so long to put together this review as I couldn’t put into words how much I love my dress, and the whole experience from consultation to the beautiful end result.  

Susanne is a very special lady and her talents know no bounds.  As a plus size bride I didn’t relish the thought of going round bridal shops and trying on dresses that may not fit, or at worst having to settle for something just because it did fit.  I instantly felt at ease when meeting Susanne and knew right away I had made the right decision in booking the consultation.  

Susanne makes anything possible.  I’d had a picture in my phone for a long time of a dress I loved.  Susanne could tell just by the picture the style and fit, and suggested some changes that would flatter my shape but without losing the key details of the dress that I loved.  

What she created was my dress of dreams, and her enthusiasm for what she does instilled so much confidence in taking the leap to choose a bespoke one off wedding dress.  

The whole process was such a joyful experience for me, as well as my Mum and bridesmaids.  We all looked forward to each visit and especially the big reveal.  

I simply can’t recommend Susanne enough.  She is a master of her craft who creates the most beautiful dresses.  If you have the opportunity to go for a bespoke dress you will not regret it.
