Rachel decided to go for separates long sleeve bodice, plunge neckline bodice, full circle skirt & detachable mikado train having a daytime & evening look which looked like two completely different dresses she was able to change over in minutes!

My experience of Susanne designing my dream wedding dress, I don’t know where to begin!! This lady is just phenomenal and the most beautiful person inside and out. He Studio is simply stunning, such a warm environment and she’s so accommodating for you and your bridal party, her appointments alone are an experience.

I was shopping around for my wedding dress for some time and not quite finding “The One” I liked the top of one dress, bottom of another, sleeves from another… it was quickly apparent I was not going to find my dress “on the rack” – In steps my Fairy Godmother Susanne. She was a dream from start to finish! From the very first appt she put me at ease, we sat down & she asked me some questions to get a feel for what my vision was. Not an easy task to do when you have been shopping around, you just become so confused about what you want.

We then started trying on different dresses, piecing together parts from different gowns to get closer to the vison in my head, we then discussed parts that where missing and Susanne used her experience over the years to suggest things that might work etc. There where so many options and I couldn’t choose between 2 designs we had ended on – Susanne was so flexible, she suggested I could make my dress a 2 piece so I could have both. I loved this idea; I loved the thought of being able to have it all. Of putting on a dress for the daytime, then having a change for the evening but not having to compromise on any of the looks I wanted. Off Susanne went to work on sketches and took my measurements.

When I had my first fitting the looks where not fully complete because I had so many changing elements. So we done a fitting and ran over everything. I remember feeling so worried at this point about timing and it all being complete in time, Susanne put me at ease right away and told me not to worry in the slightest, we had plenty of time, if I needed another 3 fittings she would works around my schedule, and we would have the dress completed in plenty of time. This is what she does and to trust her. That was so easy to do.

I returned for my second fitting and the looks where complete, I can’t describe the feeling when I saw the 2 looks come together completely. Our vision come to life, tears filled my eyes. Susanne always made me feel beautiful, she was so complimentary, always giving my confidence that extra boost.

Right up to the point where we arranged collection of my dress (this was an operation due to the fact it needed to be split in to 5 bags haha) Everything was packed in acid free paper, hung on the hanger to perfection, folded in precise locations, It was a team effort to get the dress out to the car in the rain as easy as possible. We then went through each look and Susanne made sure I know what part of the dress was for day and evening, talked us through how to get me in to the corsets.

My day arrived and I felt like a princess. Everyone was blown away with my dress. Nobody had ever seen anything like it. I have never had so many compliments in my life. This dress is definitely one in a million and cant be bought of the rack!!

To say Susanne makes wedding dress dreams come true would be an understatement.

I had dreaded wedding dress shopping due to not being comfortable with my body, however from the moment I spoke with Susanne on the phone the worries vanished.  

She booked me ( and my army of bridesmaids) in and spoke through everything I liked and disliked about dresses. She then took me through/ tried me in various tops and bottoms of dresses in different styles and materials until I was comfortable and then we fine tuned to make it personal and the end result was the most perfect dress I have ever worn.  

She is unbelievably talented, patient and above all a lovely human.  

Any bride I speak to these days are given strict instructions not to buy off a rack and go to see Susanne.  She’ll give you everything you want and more ( and for a price that will impress you as much as the service)

I love Susanne as a person and as a dress maker. From the minute I met her she made me feel at ease, happy and confident. I had been to dress shops before and had a rough idea of what I wanted, I went to her with ideas and she made my dream dress. I always describe her as the fairy godmother from Cinderella, she literally built my perfect dress on me. She was deeply understanding about insecurities I had about myself and made me feel comfortable and confident. She is a pleasure to be around and a genuine joy. My family also loved her.

I would recommend her to everyone and deeply appreciate her. She is a genius and wonderful person!

I had previously seen Susanne’s work and loved it! When I arrived, Susanne was very welcoming and made me feel extremely comfortable. It was like catching up with an old friend after speaking to her for a few minutes. I explained to Susanne the vision I had in my head of what I wanted and she listened to every single detail from the style, lace, colour and all the finer parts.

After every appointment I left feeling excited and couldn’t wait for my next appointment to watch everything come together. My dress was everything I could have dreamed of and more! Susanne’s attention to detail is second to none. She really is amazing at what she does!

Susanne came on the morning of my wedding to dress me and I’m so glad she was there. She didn’t leave until I was at the bottom of the isle and made sure my dress was sitting perfectly as I walked down.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a bespoke wedding dress to visit Susanne. You will not be disappointed.

On the 20th of October, 2024 me and my husband Jack got married, and it was absolutely perfect. I felt so beautiful the whole day and my husband nearly cried when he saw me walking down the aisle to him. I got so many compliments about the dress, it was incredible. I'd honestly never felt so special and happy. Thank you so much for making me look and feel like a star on my big day, I'll be forever grateful.
