I was so grateful to find Susanne to make my dress. Most shops had something like what I wanted, but the amount of changes were completely redoing the dress. SoI booked an appointment, and from the moment I met with Susanne, I knew I wanted my dress made, and by her, and nobody else. We just clicked, and she just understood the vibe I was trying to do with my style and dress. The wedding was on Halloween, and I wanted a vintage flair but modern, unique dress that was just me. I had to have that pop of colour in it, and Susanne just understood how to colour and sparkle it perfectly. I am forever grateful because it came out so beautifully. If you are not sure, and you want to be in good hands, treated right, and feel heard on the day when everyone should hear you, then Susanne is your dress maker!!I cannot thank her enough, and especially for the relationship we created, as she is such a joy to be around!
I was fortunate to obtain a cancellation slot with Susanne Christyne, it was as though I was destined to meet her. From the initial contact through to our first meeting and subsequent dress fittings, Susanne was welcoming, enthusiastic and her extensive knowledge of dress making impressive. I had a rough design in mind which Susanne brought to life with her ideas and creativity. Susanne is an extremely talented professional. The dress she created stunned my now husband and our guests. It is a beautiful dress which I will treasure. I am so pleased that Susanne was in our journey.
As a curvy bride to be, when I got engaged, I had all the nerves of going dress shopping and finding the perfect wedding gown that I would feel comfortable in on my wedding day. When I was advised to visit Susanne, I just knew from the first meeting that this was who I wanted to help me on my journey to find the one. Susanne made me feel relaxed, happy and told me to embrace such a happy and special time.
Susanne is a true professional, she always provided the perfect advice and also really listened to all of my anxieties about creating my dream dress.
I went from being nervous about my wedding dress experience to never wanting it to end. Susanne made it easy and I felt like I was visiting a friend each time I was in her studio.

I cannot express my thanks to Susanne enough for making my wedding dress journey so special. I am not someone who had a strong idea of what I wanted, and I get confused and find it difficult to make decisions when there are too many options surrounding me. So the intimate and personalised setting with Susanne was perfect for me.
She was very quickly able to help guide me on finding a design and style that suited and felt comfortable to me. However a key moment was when I spied some embroidered flowers on one of her designs and mentioned liking it. She explained that I could have flowers if I wanted them.Before we knew it my dress had flowers on the front bodice and once we started adding flowers I just wanted more and more, adding them to the back bodice and train of the dress also. My sister said it looked like I had a garden on my dress and it was so true and so perfect to me. I love colour and flowers and in hindsight a plain ivory/white dress just would never have been me.
A real special thing throughout the dress journey was working closely with Susanne. She allowed me to pick what flowers I liked and together we agreed the placement of them. This co-created element was super special for me. When I saw the finished dress I was blown away, despite seeing it building up, when you see the final dress that you will wear down the aisle it is just a really important moment that I will treasure in my mind for life, and Susanne made that moment really beautiful and special.
On my actual wedding day, I felt like a flower princess and truly didn’t want to take my dress off. Everyone commented on how beautiful and unique it was, even our male guests. However, for me the most special moment was after walking down the aisle my husband to be and I walked onto the altar to light a candle together, and he quietly said to me, “you look beautiful petal”. He has called me petal, due to my love of flowers, since we started dating in 2015. In that moment I realised the dress wasn’t just perfect for me, it was a perfect representation of us. So thanks Susanne for making “us” our perfect “petal”inspired dress.
Ps: The horse image was not staged - the horse photobombed us, a very happy and beautiful accident. My husband thinks he wanted the flowers in the dress and bouquet as he kept coming to me most of all. I think it was my late grandad getting in on the day.
